What I Offer

I'm Cynthia Hale, an American offering bespoke executive coaching from a unique perspective. With more than 30 years as a depth psychologist and licensed psychotherapist, I work with experienced professionals navigating business and life transitions to create meaningful next chapters. Change can feel daunting, but I've witnessed many kinds of transformation that are not only possible but lasting.

By exploring what's actually stirring beneath the surface, I guide you toward a deeper awareness that informs more grounded, practical steps. Sessions start wherever you are and progress around what really matters to you. I consider your business goals alongside personal challenges, and I bring the broader context of social, cultural, and political factors into our work. In a rapidly changing world, these shape everything. Above all, I engage with you fully and authentically to help develop new perspectives that are genuinely yours.

This isn't step-by-step executive coaching. I bring real depth and real-world professional experience to every conversation.

The Work: Insight to Action Coaching

Most people who find their way to Imaginal Ways aren't sure exactly where to start. That's completely normal. Major transitions don't arrive with a clear instruction manual, and one of the first things we often do together is figure out where you actually are.

I've organised my work into five phases that reflect how transitions tend to unfold. You might recognise yourself clearly in one of them. Or you might be somewhere between two, or cycling back through something you thought you'd already resolved. Read through the short reflections below and notice which one pulls at you. That's usually a good place to begin, although the work often takes unexpected twists and turns on the way to clarity.
